First of all, let me tell you a small fact about myself that some of you already know. I'm a technology GEEK! I try to keep up with EVERYTHING Apple releases (that's a computer company, if you don't know). I hate PCs and love Macs... Sorry! :) That's just the way I am. It's how I roll. (Can you tell I'm in a weird mood?)
Apple just released (yesterday) a brand new version of their iPod Nano. It has a new full-color screen and plays music AND videos. Holds over 2,000 songs (including all your part tracks, I'm sure... HA!!) I've attached a picture of one of them to this email. You can also check out the other colors .
Anyway, here's the deal. I want to sell as many CDs of the new "Created to Worship" project as we possibly can. I know several people who could sell 20-40 CDs on their own within the next week or two, if they wanted to do so. SO we're going to have a little competition. Remember, this is a FRIENDLY competition. Let's just have some fun with it, okay?
Here's how it goes-
Whoever sells the most CDs within the next month (the DEADLINE IS OCTOBER 16) will win either:
• a brand new Apple 8GB (gigabyte) iPod Nano (in the color of their choice)
OR
• $200 in cash.
Also, for anyone who sells more than 10 CDs, we'll waive your choir dues for October AND November. If you're behind on your choir dues, for every CD you sell, it will catch you up a month in your late dues. (For example, if you're six months behind on your dues, just sell six CDs and we'll consider you caught up.
Here's the fine print... This is ONLY open to CoreWorship members, but you CAN have your friends and family help you sell the CDs. You have to sell at least 15 CDs to qualify for the prize. If no one (as an individual) sells more than 15 CDs, then the prize won't be given out. But that won't happen, so don't worry about that. In the case of a tie, we'll just split the $200 between the two winners.
We will allow CDs you buy with your own money to be included in the total number of CDs sold. For example, if you sold 15 CDs and needed 5 more to get to your personal goal of 20, you can buy 5 of them yourself. Then you can just give those out as gifts or something.
So, let's see how many we can sell this month!
